DESIGNING IN BLACK AND WHITE - AND ADDING IN COLOUR

This black and white image was created using Sharpies.  I then copied it numerous times and started working on each new image with Sakura pens - the image on the right is reversed from the elft one, but it is the same image I started with.

Welcome to my blog!!!

I am exploring some new dimensions to my love of art and creating.  I have joined some community projects, and yahoo groups that work with Visual Journalling, Artist Trading Cards, Bookmaking, Mixed Media Trends and other related areas.  I have been working for the past year on creating a whole lot of work that is different from my painting, but very much related.  In fact, it has helped my painting tremendously to have ventured off in a few new directions.  I stay up late at night playing with everything I can find, and responding to everything in front of me in a new way.

I look forward to sharing these adventures with you in my blog.
